Zim growled as he poked at his food. "Cursed poison!" He grumbled. "Why can't they serve something good at this horrible place?!"

Everyone began to stare at the alien, noticing his odd behavior. The Irken usually just sat there playing with his food. But today he was yelling grumbling and scowling at everything that dared to come within ten feet of him.

Dib looked at Zim from the corner of his eyes, trying not to stare at him too much. Gaz continued to play her Game Slave 2, fully ignoring her brother and Zim.

Zim, in a fit of anger, grabbed his tray and walked off to exit the cafeteria. Dib jumped up and walked over to follow him. He watched the Irken closely and stayed a short distance behind him. But to his best efforts, Zim still picked up on the footsteps behind him.

"Dib-human… please… I'm not in the mood to argue today."

Dib stood there dumbfounded. "What… Zim…." He walked up closer to the halted alien "Zim what's wrong?"

"I can't stand this cursed planet any longer!"

Dib blinked wildly at the busted statement the alien had made. "What?… W-Why?.."

"You are my enemy Dib… I can't be telling you all of my secrets…." Zim began to walk down the hallway again ad Dib stood there amazed by his words. He wasn't even talking like himself.

Dib stood there for a short while, but then began chasing his enemy down the hallway. "Zim… ZIM!!!…"

The alien continued to walk away, hoping to hide his tears. He didn't hate the weird creature… And he hated having to call the human his enemy. He wanted so much to be comforted by Dib, but knew it could never happen. After all, the stink-beast would never understand what had happened to him….

A flashback of his Tallest telling him the truth hit him and hit him hard. So hard, it forced the tears out of his eyes, and knocked him down on his knees.

Dib watched the scene startled, and then began running towards the alien, afraid he was hurt. When Dib had gotten to the alien, Zim was breaking down horribly, to where he could hardly breath without letting out another sob. Dib glanced all over the Irken and then leaned down, picking him up into a hug.

When Dib wrapped his arms around Zim, he immediately, quit crying. He just stared at Dib's chest, as his squeedly spooch stirred and flopped. He wrapped his own arms around the human, crying one more. He wrapped his claws around his shirt, grabbing fistfuls of the cloth.

Dib hugged even tighter at the responding touch and tried to calm the alien down, but every touch he delivered to the alien, made Zim shiver and almost seem to cry more. So he stayed still, letting the alien finish crying into his chest. He was happy that no one was out of lunch yet, or they would be laughed at for sure.

Zim sniffled after a while, his eyes dropping from the sting of crying to much. He looked up at Dib and he smiled, for the first time in the whole week, being that it was Friday.

Dib looked down and smiled back at the alien, a warm, new feeling swept over him. One he had never felt before, ad only ever saw in movies.
